Dr. Hess is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in spinal surgery. He trained in neurological surgery at State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse. He then completed fellowship training in spinal surgery at the University of Florida in 1988. Following his training, Dr. Hess has devoted his career exclusively to spinal surgery. He was in practice for 15 years in New Jersey before relocating to Kansas in 2003.
